Roman Reigns may look like he’s currently unbeatable in WWE, but there’s one superstar who believes he’s done business with the Head of the Table.
In 2012, Reigns made his WWE TV debut alongside his Shield brothers Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins and the three have become the focal points of both WWE and the wrestling industry.
Since he captured the WWE Universal Championship in 2020, no one has been able to dethrone Reigns in WWE, but Rollins believes there’s always a chance when we sing them back together in the ring.
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, the visionary says there is always money in his rivalry with Roman Reigns and the pair have unfinished business.
I live in his head (Reigns) rent-free. So whether or not he is a champion after SummerSlam, another Rollins-Reigns match is definitely on the way. We have a lot of unfinished business, but the most important thing is that you always see Rollins versus Reigns in the tent.
You know there’s going to be money involved, you know it’s going to be big business. So when we come back to it, it will be huge, it always will be. This industry, this generation has been ours for ten years.
Rollins and Reigns last went one-on-one at this year’s Royal Rumble in January, with Seth memorably donning the classic Shield attire to get into his former friend’s mind. On that occasion, Rollins won the match via disqualification, leaving the door open for the feud to resume whenever WWE deems it necessary.
I will both be in action at SummerSlam on Saturday night, when Rollins takes on Riddle and Reigns and puts his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line in a Last Man Standing match against longtime foe Brock Lesnar, in what is being built as the final match of the pairs against each other.
