The Vivo Y52t 5G has been launched in China and it appears to be an upgrade from the Y52 handset that was unveiled last year. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity SoC and comes with a dual rear camera. It gets a 60Hz LCD display and a water drop notch on the front. The handset can be purchased in China in two RAM + storage configurations. Vivo offers the phone in three colors. It also gets a massive 5,000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y52t costs CNY 1,299 (about Rs. 14,900) for the base variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will cost CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,000).

Vivo offers the Y52t in Ice Lake Blue, Coconut Peach and Black colors. It will be available from September 19 on the official Vivo China store and other online retailers.

The dual-SIM (nano) Vivo Y52t runs on the Android 12-based Origin OS and comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ (1600×720 pixels) IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a brightness of up to 600 nits. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot is available and supports storage expansion up to 1TB.
