MONZA (Italy): Red Bull’s Max Verstappen dashed Ferrari’s hopes at home and won the Italian Grand Prix behind the safety car on Sunday to potentially knock a race away from its second Formula 1 world championship.
The 24-year-old Dutchman’s victory at the ‘Temple of Speed’, in a race that ended with a denouement and some mockery from the crowd, was Verstappen’s fifth in a row and 11th in 16 races this season.
