Sri Lanka vs Pakistan, 2nd Test, Day 3 Live Updates and Live Cricket Score: Sri Lanka extended their lead to 169 after spinner Ramesh Mendis took five wickets to knock out Pakistan for 231 on day three of Tuesday’s second Test. The hosts had reached 22 at lunchtime in Galle for their second innings with openers wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella, on 11, and Oshada Fernando, on eight, on the crease. Lefthanded Dickwella led off Sri Lanka’s at bat with skipper Dimuth Karunaratne who was out due to a low back injury. The captain did not get on the field in the Pakistani innings and will only bat when necessary. Pakistan’s innings ended in the morning session after the tourists resumed the day at 191-7, answering Sri Lanka’s first innings of 378. (LIVE SCORECARD)
