Sri Lanka Part Ways With Director Of Cricket Tom Moody

Tom Moody, the former Sunrisers Hyderabad coach, resigned from his position as director of Cricket at Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The Sri Lanka Cricket executive committee agreed with Tom Moody, who acted as Cricket’s director, to terminate his contract immediately. Moody’s appointment as Director of Cricket, effective March 1, 2021, was made on the basis of a recommendation from the Sri Lankan Cricket Technical Advisory Committee (SLC).

Sri Lanka Cricket, while thanking Tom for his contribution to the game of cricket in Sri Lanka during his tenure, wished him the best for his future endeavours.

Speaking at a press conference, the former Aussie player said it has been a pleasure to work with the SLC and is proud of the progress he has made with the team.

β€œIt has been a privilege to serve SLC again and I am proud of what I was able to achieve during my term under the guidance of the Technical Advisory Committee,” said Moody.
