Indian batter Shubman Gill, who earned acclaim with his first international century against Zimbabwe, in a three-game ODI series, is also stealing the spotlight in the ongoing County Championship. Playing for Glamorgan, Gill hit an unbeaten 91 off 102 balls on Day 1 of the clash against Sussex. Aside from his knock, another thing that caught everyone’s attention was the Indian batter’s perfect selection of the shot, which is now going viral on social media.

From sweeps to ramp shots, Gill portrayed a variety of shots in his run of 91* runs. The batter brilliantly placed a slope shot over the slip to grab a six, on the throw from Pakistani Faheem Ashraf. Later, he effortlessly put in a four over mid-wicket on Bradley Currie’s throw.
