Ridge Holland’s Ridiculous Showdown on 330lbs Superstar

Ridge Holland proved how strong he is with an insane showdown on WWE SmackDown this week.

In the main event of Friday night’s SmackDown episode, Ridge Holland and Butch became the number one contenders for The Usos’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

The Brawling Brutes won a four-time tag match on the show, beating Hit Row, New Day and IMPERIUM to win the title match next week.

A certain clip of the match has gone viral online, proving just how strong WWE’s Ridge Holland really is.

The former rugby player is widely known to be a strong boy, but fans were reminded how strong he is during the main event this week.

As you can see from the images below, Holland manages to lift Top Dolla for an incredible Alabama Slam, proving that he is nothing short of a machine.

Ridge Holland currently weighs just over 253 pounds, while Hit Row’s Top Dolla weighs 330 pounds, 77 pounds more than his fellow WWE Superstar.

If Ridge were to lift someone just 100 pounds heavier than him would be incredibly impressive, but the fact that he did it with such ease is what caught the attention of fans.

Below is a selection of tweets from fans in response to Ridge’s ridiculous display of strength, with many fans clearly impressed by Holland’s work online.

WWE’s Plans for Ridge Holland

Ridge was one of Triple H’s projects during his time running NXT, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that “The Game” has used the Englishman an incredible amount since he became Head of Creative.

As previously noted, Ridge and Butch will challenge the Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team title on next week’s episode of SmackDown.

It’s worth noting that no one expects The Brawling Brutes to win as WWE has big plans in store for The Usos, but it’s a good sign that the talented tandem got the title match.

Sheamus is also likely to be on the run from his career, winning over fans with his incredible matches, the most notable of which was him having one of WWE’s best ever matches against Gunther in Clash at the Castle.

Ridge has been taking advantage of Sheamus’ incredible work lately as the pair have been working together since November of last year.

You can watch the SmackDown episode live next week in the UK on BT Sport and in the US on FOX.
