BHUBANESWAR: The state government plans to hold Odisha Edu Invest Conclave next year to attract investment in the state’s education sector. There is a tentative date to hold this conclave between November 21 and November 23 next year.
A meeting was recently held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra to discuss this matter. The state will hold this conclave for the first time in Bhubaneswar. Mohapatra confirmed that there is a plan to keep this conclave in the state.
Official sources said top universities and educational groups from home and abroad will participate in the conclave. Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed between state universities with the teaching groups or foreign universities for research cooperation and training.
Prime Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the conclave and many education ministers, foreign ambassadors and university representatives will participate in the conclave. They will discuss many things, including the latest skills, artificial intelligence in education, increasing employability and turnkey human resources, and challenges in the education sector.

The state has been holding Make In Odisha Conclave since 2016 to attract investment for the state. But the Edu Invest Conclave will mainly focus on the education sector, where the National Education Policy in mind.
