Indian star batter Virat Kohli shared a throwback photo of herself on Saturday. Kohli ended his century of drought in the Asia Cup match against Afghanistan earlier this week. He crushed 122 runs from just 61 balls, registering his 71st international ton and the first in the game’s shortest format. His previous three-figure score came against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens almost three years ago. Kohli shared a throwback photo on Instagram, which shows him enjoying a healthy meal.
“Khao piyo aish karo mitro, Dil par kise da dukhaye na (Eat, drink and enjoy friends, don’t hurt anyone’s feelings),” Kohli captioned the photo in his Instagram story.

India failed to qualify for the Asia Cup final after losing to eventual finalists Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage.
Struggling with form ahead of the Asian Cup, Kohli took a month-long break from touring the West Indies and Zimbabwe to come back fresh for the tournament.
His first T20I tonne took him to 71 international centuries, the combined second highest in history, alongside the great Ricky Ponting of Australia.
Indian battle legend Sachin Tendulkar holds the record with 100 centuries to his name.
The 33-year-old has also had 27 Test and 43 ODI centuries in a stellar international career that started in 2008 with an ODI in Sri Lanka.

Kohli will now be seen in action during the three-game T20I series against Australia, which starts on September 20.
India will also play three T20Is, and as many ODIs, against South Africa before heading to the T20 World Cup in Australia next month.
