The Nominees Night, which was sponsored by Heineken with Casamigos and FIJI water served, helped mark the full return to Emmy celebrations this year since the start of the pandemic, with less than 48 hours left until the biggest TV night.

Inside the indoor-outdoor party, with 360-degree views of West Hollywood, Garfield held court, laughed (and expressed his Ted Lasso fandom) with Richardson and Jimoh, and words with Bradley Whitford, who also talked to succession stars Braun and Moayed. Einbinder also played social butterfly, taking pictures with Brunson (who later shared a hug with Byer) and severance pay‘s Jen Tullock.

West Side Story star Rachel Zegler appeared alongside Byer and Guillen, and later chatted with Yellow jackets star Jasmin Savoy Brown. Her co-stars Ricci and Samantha Hanratty, who play different eras of the same character on the Showtime series, stopped for a photo together, while additional Yellowjacket Tawny Cypress arrived late in the evening, beeping Ricci’s site. Lynskey and husband Jason Ritter came in shortly after, but not before Ritter got a chance to say hello to Garfield at the valet.

Shalhoub spent time with The wonderful Mrs. Maisel co-star Kevin Pollak and colleague maizel duo Luke Kirby and Michael Zegen had a drink on the terrace, and severance pay stars Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman made the rounds. In one of the evening’s more unexpected interactions, Patton Oswalt chatted with Euphoria actress Chloe Cherry; on the way out, Braun told Oswalt he was a huge fan.

HBO’s Casey Bloys spoke to former colleague Michael Ellenberg, while Fox’s Charlie Collier held conversations at the bar. There was a lot of talk Monday night about who will win, with great interest in what feels like a battle between Lynksey and Zendaya in the Best Drama Actress category.

The evening featured a charcuterie spread and tray passed appetizers. Additional guests included Steve Levitan, Abbi Jacobson, Patrick Fabian, Cristo Fernández, Poorna Jagannathan, Amy Landecker, Oswalt, Nasim Pedrad, director Adam Nee and Anna Camp.

DJ Kiss played tunes for the room all night while Thede broke it down on the DJ booth to close out the evening.
