India vs West Indies: Start Of 2nd T20I Delayed By Two Hours, Here’s Why

The start of the second T20I between India and the West Indies has been delayed due to logistical problems. The match that was supposed to start at 8pm IST on Monday will now start at 10pm IST.

“Due to circumstances beyond the control of the CWI, there have been significant delays in the arrival of crucial team luggage in St Kitts from Trinidad. As a result, today’s 2nd Goldmedal T20 Cup match will start at 12:30pm (11:30am). Jamaica/ The CWI regrets the inconvenience experienced by our valued fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders,” West Indies Cricket said in a statement.

India led the five-game series 1-0 after their 68-run victory in the first T20I last Friday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.

The second T20I will be followed on Tuesday by the third T20I at the same location.

The fourth and fifth T20Is will be played in Lauderhill, Florida, on August 6 and 7, respectively.

India had previously won the ODI series 3-0.
