India, South Africa teams reach Thiruvananthapuram for T20 match | Cricket News

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian cricket team reached the city on Monday for the first international T20 match against South Africa to be held on September 28 at the Greenfield Stadium here.
The team received an enthusiastic welcome at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport by the fans and the Kerala Cricket Association.
The South African squad reached the state capital on Sunday and started training on Monday.
Team India will hit the ground for practice on September 27. They will practice from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The South African team will train on the pitch from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.,” KCA said in a statement.
The team captains would meet the media as part of the pre-game interaction on September 27.
The KCA said only 2,000 tickets remained for the game. The stadium has a capacity of 55,000 seats.
Rejith Rajendran, co-secretary of the Kerala Cricket Association, and Thiruvananthapuram District Cricket Association President Rajeev greeted the Indian team at the airport.
Fares for the upper tier, pavilion and KCA grandstand are Rs 1,500, Rs 2,750 and Rs 6,000 respectively. Tickets for KCA grandstand seats would include food costs.
