India’s bowling attack has recently come under scrutiny, but star pacer Jasprit Bumrah showed on Friday exactly why his return was so long awaited with a peach of a delivery to Australian captain Aaron Finch in the third T20I at Nagpur. Finch looked destructive until Bumrah bowled in the shortened game and knocked him off with a low full pitch. The delivery fell on Finch, cramping him for space, and the Australian couldn’t put his bat down in time. The ball hit his leg stump and ended his knockout 31 of 15 deliveries.

Bumrah again showed his prowess with a brilliant yorker to Steve Smith who had the batter on the ground.
He ended with a period of 1/23 as India limited Australia to 90/5 after a wet outfield meant the game was reduced to eight overs per side.
Matthew Wade continued his good form for Australia, finishing undefeated on 43 from 20 deliveries, while Axar Patel once again proved to be India’s best bowler, taking two wickets for just 13 runs from his two overs.

Rohit Sharma then crushed an unbeaten 46 from just 20 deliveries to propel India to a six-wicket victory.
The win means India has brought the series of three games to 1-1. The two teams now play the decider in Hyderabad on Sunday.
