Exciting update on big show in 2024

WWE has confirmed both the dates and venue for the WrestleMania 40 event in 2024.

WrestleMania has been WWE’s biggest show for nearly 40 years, and it will almost certainly continue to be despite the retirement of Vince McMcMahon.

We already know that WrestleMania 39 will take place in Los Angeles at the SoFi Stadium. It will be a very important event as it will be the first WrestleMania without Vince McMahon in charge of WWE.

While we’ve still got to hit a WrestleMania in April 2023, WWE just confirmed some key details about WrestleMania 40 in 2024.

The show will take place on April 6 and 7. The event takes place from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The first note to consider is that WrestleMania 40 will once again be a two-night event, marking the fifth time in a row that that has happened.

The change was initially made at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it appears that format will remain, which has been well received by fans.

The location is also important, pointing out that WrestleMania 40 will be the first WrestleMania in 13 years to take place outside of Florida, Texas, California, Louisiana or New Jersey.

New WWE CEO and Chairman Stephanie McMahon responded to the news, commenting on how WrestleMania returned to Philadelphia for the first time in 25 years.

Located in South Philadelphia, the Lincoln Financial Field is the home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles and has a capacity of just 70,000.

We still have quite some time between now and WrestleMania 39, let alone WrestleMania 40, so be sure to stay tuned to GiveMeSport for the latest updates over the coming days, weeks and months.
