Dolph Ziggler: The Reason Behind WWE Star’s Surprising Return

Monday Night Raw saw a surprise return to the show’s main event, as Dolph Ziggler interrupted proceedings to announce his presence.

Raw was led by the tag team match in which Riddle and Bobby Lashley teamed up to take on Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Theory. With Riddle getting the pinfall to score a win for his team.

During the match, a somewhat fit Dolph Ziggler made a surprise return to TV and sat at ringside during the fight, and at one point Theory stopped cheating to take the win.

At the height of the main event, Ziggler then stepped into the ring and gave Theory a super kick and the show ended with Dolph standing up over Mr. Money in the Bank.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Theory and Ziggler will argue in the future, with Dolph being seen as the perfect foil for Theory to learn from.

Ziggler and Theory argue, with the idea that Theory can take advantage of a 20-year veteran, a very good worker. So Ziggler is a baby face, they just did it on the house shows. They just want him to run around with Theory on shows every night a few nights a week for a while because they are determined and determined to make Theory something, and (Ziggler) is a good guy to get back to for that. I think they’ve got the mindset that whatever they’re going to do with Theory, they can always beat him now.

Ziggler has been absent from WWE TV since his show with Bron Breakker came to an end over the WrestleMania weekend, apart from a brief appearance alongside Bobby Roode in a one-off angle with Omos.

It now looks like the 41-year-old will be positioned as a babyface against Theory in a program that kicks off once the Upstart ends its SummerSlam feud with Lashley.
