Pakistani pacesetter Mohammad Abbas continued his rich form in the on-going County Championship. In the on-going Division One match between Hampshire and Yorkshire, Abbas took a six-wicket-haul at Scarborough. However, his in-swinging delivery to sack Matthew Waite in Yorkshire’s second innings was the pinnacle of his spell. The dismissal came on the second throw of the 84th over when Waite hit for the score of 47. Abbas produced a full-length throw, which came back sharp and shoved the stumps in.

The video was shared by the County Championship on their official Twitter handle.

Abbas ended his spell with numbers from six to 62.

In the first innings, Kyle Abbott took a six-for when Hampshire Yorkshire looked out for a paltry total of 159.

In response, Keith Baker and Ben Brown’s fifties gave Hampshire a 67 run lead in the first innings.

In the second innings, Adam Lyth and Jonathan Tattersall hit 50 to take Yorkshire to a total of 272.

Hampshire was chasing a goal of 214 and had passed the 100 run without losing a wicket.

Both Ian Holland and Felix Organ had passed fifty and were going strong for Hampshire.

Hampshire is currently second in Division One, behind table toppers Surrey.

Meanwhile, Yorkshire is in fifth place, behind Lancashire and Essex in third and fourth place respectively.
