For the second day today, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) scanned the crime scene on the campus of Chandigarh University, Gharuan, and recorded the statement of the hostel director in the video leak case.

Kharar DSP Rupinderdeep Kaur Sohi visited the campus again to continue the research. Experts, led by Forensic Science Lab deputy director Ashwani Kalia, scanned the communal laundry room on the seventh floor of D Block of the Le Corbusier hostel and checked for possible listening devices. The forensic report of the inspection will soon be handed over to the SIT.
Some girl students and hostel inmates had said they were afraid to use the toilets. Police said the cyber experts had been called in to investigate the matter and that no loose ends would remain in the investigation.
