Apple has rolled out the new iOS 16 update for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 12 and others. The new software update has brought several exciting features and upgrades, especially on the recently launched iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. From the ability to edit and delete messages to a new customizable lock screen, always visible and others; here are the top features of iOS 16 you must check out on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro
iOS 16 Features You Should Try Now
Ability to edit and unsend messages
Embarrassed by typos is now a thing of the past for iPhone users, as iOS 16 included the ability to edit sent messages. So when you notice a typo after a message has been sent, you can edit the message instead of deleting it. You can immediately recall a sent message. You can also undo the Send tool to avoid reading an unfinished message.
A new customizable lock screen
iOS 16 brings the most substantial update to the iPhone’s lock screen yet by making it customizable. Press and hold your lock screen to edit and customize it according to your choice. You can try out different styles by changing the color filter for the background photo and the font on the lock screen. You can even customize the time and date fonts and add lock screen widgets such as temperature, activity rings, and a calendar.
Always on display on iPhone 14 Pro
The iPhone 14 Pro comes standard with an always-on display feature that keeps you up to date with notifications even when you’re not using your phone. It dims the background and highlights the clock, but you’ll find it’s not that useful and drains the battery. So if you want to disable it, you can do so by making changes in the settings.
Enable the haptic keyboard
Apple has also brought haptic feedback to its own standard keyboard with iOS 16. This means you will feel subtle taps or vibrations under the screen when you type. To enable it, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > then choose “Keyboard Feedback” and enable it.
Battery percentage indicator is back
The battery percentage indicator that was removed with the release of the iPhone X is back with the iOS 16 update. Now you can see the actual percentage in the battery icon in your status bar. To activate it, just go to Settings > Battery and enable the ‘battery percentage’ option.
