DOHA: The Indian Football Federation (AIFF) will sign a memorandum of understanding with its Qatari counterpart on “strategic alliance for mutual benefit”, it was announced on Sunday.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the QFA Chairman for his valuable time to discuss the possibilities of collaboration between India and Qatar. I am sure it would be beneficial for both countries in the long run,” he said. Chaubey said after the meeting.
Chaubey and Prabhakaran met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino on Friday to discuss the way forward for Indian football.
