After BGMI ban, gamers face server issues and other errors

After the BGMI ban was struck on the game and it was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, players are facing some issues while playing the game. While no one can download the game anymore, those who already have it on their devices can play it.

A few days ago, BGMI players got the shock of their lives when the game was banned and it disappeared from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. However, those who already downloaded the Battlegrounds Mobile India app on their smartphones were able to play it, but now they are increasingly reporting errors that spoil their experience. In the latest development, some iPhone and Android users have reported issues while playing the game.

According to 91Mobiles, several BGMI players have started experiencing issues and potential outages related to server issues. ‚ÄúThere have now been reports of a potential outage affecting some users playing BGMI in India. An error message that reads ‘Server has not responded. Go back to the login page and try again “blinks for some users of the game,” the 91Mobiles report said.

The report also mentioned that a number of players have noticed restrictions on in-app purchases! Additionally, even in classic mode, BGMI players have experienced server issues while others have complained of slowdowns and app crashes.

Is BGMI Banned in India?

The reason behind these errors could simply be due to a bug or because BGMI developer Krafton disconnected the servers in India after they were removed from the Play Stores, the report suggested. If servers are shut down, the Battle Royale players will not be able to play BGMI!

Battlegrounds Mobile India was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on July 28, allegedly under Section 69A of India’s IT Act. It is the same law under which the Indian government banned a number of Chinese apps a few years ago, including PUBG: Mobile. However, the final confirmation from Krafton or the government has yet to clarify the reason.
